Ambiguity Series #13 (Reflection: Ice-Coated Memorial Plaque) 1/20
Following a severe rain, snow and ice-storm, we braved sub zero temperatures and went out to photograph and paint a particularly spectacular sunset. Whilst Michael painted, my attention was caught by how the rain had frozen on different surfaces. I was looking at the ice encased litchen on a bench, when my eye was drawn to the brass memorial plaque on the backrest. The rain had frozen across it in sheet form, trapping tiny air bubbles and the sunset was being reflected on the surface. No filters were used.
